📋 Vacancy Details (Expected)
NORCET is a common exam through which Nursing Officer is posted in AIIMS Delhi, AIIMS Bhopal, AIIMS Jodhpur, AIIMS Rishikesh, AIIMS Patna, and other AIIMS institutes.
Note: Exact vacancy details are different for each institute and allotment is done on the basis of merit after the exam.
🧑⚕️ Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification:
B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing or Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from any recognized university/institution.
Registration with State/Indian Nursing Council is mandatory.
Experience:
GNM candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a 50 bedded hospital.
Age Limit : (As on 11-08-2025):
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 30 years
(Age relaxation will be given for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per government rules.)
💵 Application Fee :
General/OBC ₹3000/-
SC/ST/EWS ₹2400/-
PwD ₹0/- (Exempted)
Payment will be done through online mode only – Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card.
💼 Salary Details – Pay Scale
AIIMS Nursing Officer is found:
Pay Band: ₹9,300 – ₹34,800
Grade Pay: ₹4,600
Level: 7 as per 7th CPC
Apart from this, DA, HRA, and other government allowances are also available.
🧪Selection Process :
Selection will be done on the basis of 2 stages:
NORCET Preliminary Exam (MCQ based)
NORCET Mains Exam (for shortlisted candidates)
The syllabus of both the exams will be Nursing based – Anatomy, Physiology, Fundamentals of Nursing, Pharmacology, Community Health, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, etc.
